My name is Kalindi Chirmuley and I created Mulayam to bring together the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with my extensive knowledge of cosmetics.I am a qualified chemist with years of experience as a quality control chemist and in research and development with internationally-renowned cosmetic companies in the USA, Africa and India.
My passion is to create quality and affordable skincare products and my solid background has given me the confidence and wisdom to do so.
After experimenting with various combinations of ancient ingredients, I blended natural substances and created a few small batches that my daughters and I began to use.
It wasn’t long before our friends started to comment on the youthfulness of our skin, with of them wanting to try my products for themselves. For several years I continued making small batches for my friends and kept improving the formulas to create the most effective, well-balanced skincare range possible.
The result is Mulayam (Moo-lay-um. soft as a petal) and now you too can benefit from the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and our years of learning and experience.
Our name says it all. Mulayam is gentle on the skin with subtle fragrance and delicate colour leaving your skin soft as a petal.
We use no harsh chemicals and our products are 100 per cent environmentally sound – Made in Adelaide, South Australia from all-Australian ingredients.
